2 delicious brunches in d.c.

I love brunch food...so much in fact that I had two brunches in the same day.
Back in March, I ran the Rock 'n' Roll USA Half Marathon in Washington D.C. and had a huge appetite after the race!  Sometimes I really surprise myself.

the silver glittery truck

I had several food missions traveling in D.C., including looking for Pepe.
found Chef José Andrés' new food truck!  {L'Enfant, Washington D.C.}

 the non-alcoholic sangria + the Pepito de Ibérico
yum {seared Ibérico pork + Serrano ham with roasted green peppers + caramelized onions + aioli}
This was the most I've ever spent on a sandwich from a truck...
I had to go all out; when will I ever get another chance to try Pepe, right?
