a holiday in verona
I can't believe it's been 2 years since I left for Verona, Italy! I was looking through old photos and found these pictures {below}. I took them on my first weekend there. I arrived after the holiday and the city still had all its decorations hung. The lights made the city look even more magical!
there is a huge star arch that crosses the center of Piazza Bra

what's black & white & pumpkin?
Happy 1st Anniversary Zucchero & Butter! Exactly one-year ago, we created our blog. Our first post was about everything pumpkin, so it's only fitting to have our anniversary post about pumpkin too!
Black&white cookies are a must-eat in New York! If you never had it before, it's a cakey cookie with chocolate and vanilla frosting on top. I was inspired by our trip to New York to bake black&white cookies, but I wanted to make it my own by adding pumpkin! The result...DELICIOUS!!!
I would also like to announce the launch of a new venture, Zucchero & Paper!!! Zucchero & Paper is a paper company. I design custom paper designs for greeting cards, invitations, announcements, labels, etc. Here is a preview of what you will see on etsy soon!

DIY: mustache straw
I have a new obsession for mustache. You see a lot of mugs and glasses with a mustache on it, but why not have a mustache straw! I am planning a party and this is a great idea to use. I also have mason jars sitting around the house I can use for glasses. This is an easy DIY project you can do for parties for all ages. I know grown-ups would love to have a mustache straw with their cocktail :-{
What you need:
drinking blood orange soda
everything taste better with a mustache straw
