Our first meal in Montreal, Quebec!  We did a lot of research, and Le Cartet was a popular choice among Montreal foodies.  We stopped in for breakfast but Le Cartet also offers brunch, lunch, and à la cart for people on the go.  A little secret....we had a late breakfast so that we can hang back for lunch to order the soup of the day in the mini orange "Le Creuset".  Our meal was simple but thoughtfully prepared and very flavorful.

Blueberry Dutch Baby Pancake

I've been wanting to make this pancake for days and I finally got to this morning :) The first time I made a Dutch pancake (but it was called German Pancake) was in the 5th grade. Each student had to bring a dish along with the copy of the recipe. Our teacher took all the recipes, put them together, and made a cookbook for each of us. And one of the recipe was for a German pancake.
