When I went to Paris, eating macarons was on my list to do. Before my trip I researched the best macarons in Paris and Ladurée was one of them!

The first time I had Speculoos was in Paris, France {February 2011}. I spread it on a croissant. I never tasted anything so amazing and delicious. When I went back to Paris in April 2011 with my parents, we loaded Speculoos in our suitcase.


A few months later I found out they started selling Speculoos in grocery stores in Chicago! My secret french spread wasn't a secret anymore. Although I can find Speculoos here, I will always be reminded of Paris.
