Okay, so french fries may be my favorite food. I love the crispy fries from Au Cheval {West Loop, Chicago}
crispy fries : mornay sauce + garlic aioli + fried farm egg
...and I must say, the rest of the dinner was quite tasty.
horse's neck : george kappeler, 1895. old overholt rye + lemon + ginger beer + angostura
general jane's fried chicken : sesame seeds + chili + cilantro
a side of hash browns!
foie gras & pork-stuffed cabbage
bone marrow + beef cheeks marmalade + toast
and for dessert...the very pretty mille feuille!
